These are the rules that apply to all members of Darkmoon Rising.

General Rules
- All members must be at the maximum level, with a flying mount or flying skill.
- All members should to be in the Darkmoon Rising chat channel, details will be given when applicants start their trial period. Please keep the conversation in the chat channel civil and intelligent.
- Please keep up with the forums, as all important communications will be done through them.
- Personal disputes should be handled in a civil and mature manner. If you are unable to resolve them amicably on your own, contact one of the group officers.

Gear & Spec
- All members need to have a PvE viable spec for the raids.
- All members are responsible for maintaining their gear with the proper enchants and gems.

Attendance, Sign ups & Cancellations
- Raid days are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 20:00 to 23:00 game time.
- You MUST show up at least 30 minutes in advance of the raid time.
- Replacements will be invited at 19:45 and anyone not present will be considered absent without cancellation.
- Members need to maintain at least 66% attendance over the past 30 days. However, that is the bare minimum. Barring RL issues, we expect people to be ready to raid the required 3 days.
- Cancellations on sign ups are 24 hours in advance, either by forum post, or communicated to the raid leader. If a member fails to do so frequently, 'the management' will take appropriate measures.

Voice Chat rules
- Ventrilo: You must be able to listen. A microphone is highly recommended, however. It goes without saying that understanding spoken English is a must.
- Do not interfere during tactical briefings, fights, or loot distribution either by speaking over VoIP, or by spamming the visible chat channels. Comments are always welcome, but please use whispers if possible, or wait until the speaker has finished - unless it's critical information that the raid needs to have RIGHT NOW.
- Do not raise the raid leader's blood pressure by using leetspeak in raid chat!

Raid preparation
- All members attending a raid need to read the relevant tactics of the upcoming encounters in advance.
- All members need to have updated versions of Omen, oRA2, DBM and have Ventrilo installed and configured.
- All members need to be raid ready 30 minutes before the start; this includes repairs, reagents, and consumables.

Appendix A:

Connection Policy During Raids
- Everyone is expected to be connected and present during the entire raid.
- Replacements will be invites for anyone who goes offline for over 15 minutes without any means of communicating their status to the raid.
- Likewise, replacements will be invites for anyone who consistently disconnects several times in a row, and has no discernible means of quickly diagnosing and fixing the problem.
- We urge everyone to be upfront and calm about technical issues. Sometimes things beyond our control interfere with playing the game and, short of burning down the ISP headquarters to teach them a lesson, there is nothing we can do. No one will hold your hardware or ISP failures against you, but we will regretfully have to find someone else to take your place for that raid.
- Anyone who gets replaced will still earn DKP for partial participation, including bonuses when appropriate.
